Watercress soup

 Are we having a green summer thursday?  Here is an old recipe for you to try, if you like it green. 🙂

1 bowl watercress soup – 1 bunch fresh watercress –  juice from 2 cucumbers – 2 tbsp lemon juice – 2 garlic cloves – 1 avocado – salt and pepper to taste. Garnish: cucumber and some more watercress or if you have anything else in mind.

Put the watercress, cucumber juice, half the lemon juice and garlic in a blender and blend well. Add the avocado and more lemon juice to taste and blend again. Let it chill for a minute in the fridge, then serve in a bowl and garnish.  Don’t forget the salt and pepper and use more garlic for some extra sting. Enjoy!

Colorful Dragonfruit jar

Yes, this is the color of the beautiful dragon fruit, the nutritious tropical super fruit with either white or deep pink meat inside. Instead of making a acai bowl I made a pitaya bowl… or jar instead just to brighten up the day a little bit.  I used 2 pitaya plus smoothie pack,  1 tbsp maca, 1 tsp raw honey, a splash of almond milk to mix well in the blender. Topping is the usual granola, berries, pomegranate seeds, coconut chips and one edible flower.

Almondbutter smoothie

Just a little something after some soccer on the beach. It is the World Cup after all and Us just won their first game.

I used 2 small bananas, lots of almond butter, probably a few tablespoons, 1 tsp manuka honey and almond milk. Blended and topped with even more almond butter. You know whats good? To blend it with some raw cacao also. Mums!
