A tropical dream

I felt like something sunny this morning so I made a smoothie with fresh mango and pineapple, coconut oil, hemp seeds, a few almonds, coconut water (from a nut) and coconut milk. Nutritious and delicious!

If I feel a difference after eating this bowl of plant power? Yes I do!

I feel satisfied, energized and the little Bean in my belly seems very happy about it.

Superbowl, 2 servings or 1 large for yourself just cuz you’re worth it… always!

1 cup pineapple

1 cup mango

1 T maca

1 T lucuma

1 T coconut oil

2 T raw kakao

1 tsp vanilla

Almond milk to blend it smooth with.

Pour in a bowl and top it off with generous amounts of, coconut, hemp and chia seeds, bee pollen, berries and also some chunky almond butter. #strong

 

it’s a coconut oil in the hair kinda day

This heat makes it perfect to roll the hair up in a tie, all covered in coconut oil. A great DYI hair treatment you can do at home. I put a few oil in the palm of my hand and let it melt. I start from the ends and work my way up to the roots and then i do a good 4 minute scalp massage and make sure everything is covered. It’s going to get greasy but that’s good, we want greasy. When the hair is covered in oil i roll it up in a tie and just let it sit… for hours. My hair likes overnight treatments but a few hours works wonders too. Then I wash it out as usual. I love it, it helps my hair retain it’s natural moisture and to keep it stronger (from braking all the time after using a no no hairstylist). Yes,  I’v learned my lesson.
