I have not only cravings for chocolates, I crave Santa Barbara too, a loot! And I wonder If I’m gonna have time to hang out there before Bean comes. I hope so. Anyway, here is a tip if you are traveling in the SB wine country and need some fresh strawberries for the road. Finley Farms is the cutest little road stand that offers a huge variety of organic produce, harvested right there and then. It’s not only good stuff you get there, you get the nicest views over Santa Ynez, the farms and vineyards.

Im a huge fan of Santa Barbaras valley, It’s so mellow and pretty.

If no one’s around, use the honor system. Pay what you owe in the bin and and enjoy your finds.

Surprise! This weeks box was loaded with crispy greens, berries, farm carrots, parsley, celery root, apples, eggs and bread. I really like Hello Harvest. If you live around L.A or up in Santa Barbara you should consider ordering weekly delivery from them. Everything is sourced from local family farms, crispy and beautifully put together. It really feels handpicked just for you.

Celery root tips: Cut the thick “skin” off and chop it, boil it until soft, drain and throw in the blender together with a little bit of butter and water, salt and freshly ground pepper. Blend until mashed and enjoy to some grilled salmon or so. It’s really good and much more tasty than potato mash 🙂

This weeks box is so great and colorful. I’m thinking gazpacho just by looking into this box full of fresh harvest. Gazpacho with strawberry, chocolate lipstick pepper and cilantro. Yum! I will show you the results tomorrow night. I know it’s only 10 pm, but i can’t keep my eyes opened any longer. Long busy days ahead and then Sweden next week for a few days, yay!
