We went out for some Mexican food last night in Santa Monica, at a place called Mercado. If you like mexican food towards the more stylish and fancy way, you should try this spot. We only did some small plates (since I was already full after the chips and guac,) but I did see servers balancing the most delicious looking dishes in their hands passing our table all the time. Next time I’m gonna try it all with extra everything. You’ll find Mercado in SM, WeHo and Downtown.
I like things comfy and cosy and healthy, and just because something is vegan and superfood-ish doesn’t mean it has to be enjoyed on plastic chairs in small “whole in the wall” type of places. I was thrilled when this spot opened up. Here, you can sip on a margarita while munching on hearty tacos with veggies and cashew creme while “cozying it up” by the pillows. Gracias Madre has a smaller lunch menu and always a green juice and a large beautiful patio. Go here! (good for celeb spotting too)
It feels like i’v been prepping my body with so many good healthy things, so it should be completely impossible to get sick going to cooler temps. This is a hot tea loaded… and i mean LOADED with medicinal mushrooms, herbs and pearl which has amazing health benefits. Yup! You will soon be able to read more about this Tonic Bar… the first one in L.A who are taking health a step further into a direction we will be in the future. It was good by the way. It tasted like hot chocolate.
