Tumeric tonic @source cafe

The Source Cafe in Hermosa Beach just opened up a Pop-Up here on Main Street by me. All organic and local sourced with juices, smoothies, vegan pastries and treats, gluten free and all. I’m totally gonna give this new breakfast joint a try while they’re. This yellow tonic with turmeric was good and totally hit the spot.

The Source Cafe! I’m happy you’re here.

Gracias Amigo!

I like things comfy and cosy and healthy,  and just because something is vegan and superfood-ish doesn’t mean it has to be enjoyed on plastic chairs in small “whole in the wall” type of places. I was thrilled when this spot opened up. Here, you can sip on a margarita while munching on hearty tacos with veggies and cashew creme while “cozying it up” by the pillows. Gracias Madre has a smaller lunch menu and always a green juice and  a large beautiful patio. Go here! (good for celeb spotting too) 🙂

Gjusta Bakery breakfast

We woke up early and headed over to Gjusta Bakery for an early breakfast. Its been raining, a well needed drizzle and time to dig deep in the closet for the winter gear. I like it!

Hm.. what should i eat today? The options are many here and the last thing on the counter that caught my eye was homemade granola and a bowl of raspberry compote, one bowl of roasted quince vanilla and one with roasted crab apples. I picked all three of them with yoghurt and granola.

Let’s try!
