Juice Ranch Santa Barbara

The awesome couple behind Juice Ranch are sharing a green juice recipe for the cookbook. We went up to SB yesterday to visit them in their home to juice up some greens… a savory delicious green organic juice for good energy. It’s been so fun visiting all these guests as they have taught me some new tips and tricks.  I can’t wait for you too see the book when it comes out.

Juice Ranch! One of my favorites are Love Potion #9, apple, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon and maca.

Pretty florals, herbs from Sun Potion, a local Santa Barbara brand, actually! Juice Ranch are 100% organic, 90% local and everything they do is with lots and lots of heart and soul.

Scott is ready to film a little and Erin is ready to juice a little and Stephanie is ready to shoot a little. This was our last shoot day and it could not have been any better. The gorgeous weather, the perfect beach in my favorite city with supercool and nice peeps. Couldn’t bee for thankful. Happy thanksgiving!

A green Juice Ranch wallboard? Of course Scott had to walk down to the beach with it for some surf. 🙂

I can’t wait!

Tomorrow i finally get to blast up the highway to Santa Barbara again together with Stephanie. I love the winters in Santa Barbara. Or should i say fall? It’s november but still feels like fall. We are visiting Erin and Scott from Juice Ranch and one of the farms they use for their juicing greens. We’re gonna hang here a little. This part of Montecito is nice, between Butterfly beach and Miramar. Great place to live if you ask the Juice Ranchers.

Eat local!

Surprise! This weeks box was loaded with crispy greens, berries, farm carrots, parsley, celery root, apples, eggs and bread. I really like Hello Harvest. If you live around L.A or up in Santa Barbara you should consider ordering weekly delivery from them. Everything is sourced from local family farms, crispy and beautifully put together. It really feels handpicked just for you.

Delicious strawberries.

Celery root tips: Cut the thick “skin” off and chop it, boil it until soft, drain and throw in the blender together with a little bit of butter and water, salt and freshly ground pepper. Blend until mashed and enjoy to some grilled salmon or so. It’s really good and much more tasty than potato mash 🙂
