Farmers market

Farmers market started last weekend here in Sweden and I ran into a really good one in Mariefred. Look at all these delicious crispy greens ready to nourish your body from inside and out.

Farmhouse with veggies

We went out to this farm yesterday to pick up some fresh produce. Such a cute place. All these crispy and delicious veggies are all local produced and a huge different from what you get at the grocery stores around here. I like to shop this way much more. This is out on a strawberry farm, unfortunately their strawberry season just ended…but they had a bunch of other great stuff.

Tiny blueberries… packed with antioxidant, cus they are blue on the inside as well. I’m not so used to that from blueberries from Cali.

Sunday routine

I made a quick visit to the farmers market this morning to pick up some fruit and veggies. This is truly the best season of the year with all the  tomatoes,  juicy peaches and the small organic melons and strawberries that actually tastes like strawberries. – I can’t get enough of it. One thing I like about this market here on Main street is the fresh juices and coconuts you can get from a Rawfood cafe down the street. They are here every sunday and sells raw breakfasts and snacks. And the vendors next to them has amazing kale bowls with eggs and stuff… just sayin! 🙂 I haven’t had one of those in a while. next time I have one I will show you.
