Christmas break along the coast

Hello there! I hope you all had a fantastic christmas. I took some time off and went for a long winter break along the California coast. We have some Swedish friends who lives in Mill Valley, Marin County – on the other side of the Golden Gate bridge.  We wanted to visit them and celebrate a Swedish christmas with all the good food. And then visit  Justins mom and brother who lives just a short trip north in the middle of apple orchards and vineyards, super cozy and really beautiful.

Mill Valley is a really beautiful place as well. This is on top of the village with the bay on one side and the ocean on the other.

Mill Valley is: Redwoods, hiking trails everywhere, amazing views,  a charming small town with a super cute village with nice shops and restaurants, lots and lots of outdoor activities and only 15 min to San Francisco. Beautiful valley!

And San Francisco too. I like Pacific Heights and the Marina, very nice and extremely good food.

Mountains in Marine

We are up on a hill in Mill Valley on the other side of the bridge from San Fransisco, where the redwoods are. So incredible nice and crisp up here and the view from our friends house is amazing. We see the bay bridge, the bay, and lots of mountains and hills. So pretty! This is Mt. Tamalpais… just a little hike by their house!

Dolphins

I took Olive to Carbon Beach for a walk yesterday and the first thing we see are a large pod of dolphins swimming and playing so close to the shore. One of them was right by the shore break, so playful and pretty.

They are always so hard to catch!
