some colors tonight!

I’v been siting here since Stephanie left this afternoon and it’s 9pm now.  We shot out very last picture today! No, we are not done shooting yet. We have some more guest to visit and some other things to take care of, but the whole recipe section for the book is DONE and it feels great! It feels like I can be social again soon :).

I’ve been sitting here looking at pictures all afternoon and evening ( which is a lot of fun ) but took a break during sunset,  which are so pretty this time a year.

In the jar!

A greenie anyone? In the jar: 1 frozen banana, 1 black apple, a large handful fresh spinach, 1 tbsp toasted almond butter, 1 tsp maca powder, 1 pinch himalaya pink salt, 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar and coconut mylk. Maca goes really well with nut butters AND with raw cacao, but I didn’t do any cacao in this one. I wanted to keep it green.  Cheers and happy saturday!

Aloha guide… #repost

Good morning! We had a gorgeous sunrise here and i went out with Olive to the beach for a walk. It’s a little nib in the air and i can’t help myself from daydreaming away… when it’s a little nib in the air. 🙂 Usually I dream about Hawaii, actually, that’s all i dream about when it comes to the tropicals. This time a year is perfect to go there. Its not too hot, the water is a tiny bit cooler (so you actually feel the difference) and he waves up in North Shore can be insane. Good for surfing, bad for swimming but the sand is still soft and thick. Check out my Oahu guide here for tips and tricks. I would suggest anyone who is planning a trip to L.A to head over to the Islands. It’s only 4-5 hours on the plane from here and then  you’re in dreamland. 🙂
