Chianola parfait.

It’s ridiculous how easy it is to make chia puddings and it goes so fast. 4 minutes to make at night and then ready and perfect in the morning. While I was waiting for the tea water to boil I poured som almond milk in a bowl, added some honey and vanilla, stirred and threw in some chia seeds, stirred again and put it in the fridge and let the seeds do it’s magic overnight. This morning I layered some pecan granola, chia pudding, blueberries, granola, chia pudding, raspberries, blueberries, hemp seeds and coconut chips. Hearty, healthy and heavenly!

Soothing lavender smoothie

When one is feeling a little bit stressed out or anxious, the scent of lavender can soothe and relax. Here is a soothing lavender smoothie from Hälsokick. It’s very refreshing with just a tiny hint of lavender.

Soothing lavender smoothie:

1 frozen banana

3 dl frozen blueberries // 1,2 cups frozen blueberries

1/2 tsp dried lavender

3 dl almond milk // 1,5 cups almond milk

Choice of flavors:

1 tsp lemon zest or

1 tsp raw local honey or

1 tsp vanilla extract

Add your choice of flavor and blend it all until really smooth and silky. Make sure it’s blended well so you don’t get the dried lavender stuck somewhere. Also, it;s smart to not overuse the lavender, we don’t want your smoothie to taste like soap. 🙂

This beautiful lavender feld belongs to Clairmont Farmes in Los Olivos – Santa Barbaras wine country. It’s gorgeous up there.
