Another kind of Sunrise on Abbot Kinney

I dropped by Another Kind of Sunrise this morning for some good fuel. This is a sweet little gem down a hidden path on Abbot Kinney.  A whole in the wall. Small menu. Great menu. Only open for brekky and lunch with a large following.  I hear that people are bragging about their Buttery Brew coffee where they blend coconut oil, grass fed ghee and roasted organic coffee.  They serve gluten free goods, smoothies, herbal teas, cold pressed juices and acai bowls.

I’ve got nothing but this

It’s been way to crowded here in venice today.  But this is pretty! The sky looks like ice cream swirl or something.

love citrus juices

I ended up at the farmers market this morning. Needed a bunch of citrus fruits and some flowers. I love juicing blood oranges and tangerines for a good C vitamin boost and some sunshine in a glass.

The juice:  Oranges, blood oranges, tangerines, pear and a hint of ginger. Gimme!

Good kale for pizza night. I throw kale on a gluten free crust with some asiago cheese, chili flakes and olive oil. It’s delicious!

Almonds and almond butter in all sorts of flavors, so good.
