After the big meal!

Yesterdays thanksgiving dinner was such a feast! 2 different kinds of turkey (its all about how to prepare the turkey each year) lots of roasted veggies, mushroom and bread pudding, spicy corn something pudding, slow roasted stuffing, green beans with nuts and some other healthy kind of stuffing, cauliflower mash, butter with potatoes (not the other way around) and a good gravy. YUM! Our neighbor makes it really good. And then all the desserts with homemade pecan ice cream. I sleep good after a turkey meal… but today I’m going green again.

Juice Ranch Santa Barbara

The awesome couple behind Juice Ranch are sharing a green juice recipe for the cookbook. We went up to SB yesterday to visit them in their home to juice up some greens… a savory delicious green organic juice for good energy. It’s been so fun visiting all these guests as they have taught me some new tips and tricks.  I can’t wait for you too see the book when it comes out.

Pretty florals, herbs from Sun Potion, a local Santa Barbara brand, actually! Juice Ranch are 100% organic, 90% local and everything they do is with lots and lots of heart and soul.

Scott is ready to film a little and Erin is ready to juice a little and Stephanie is ready to shoot a little. This was our last shoot day and it could not have been any better. The gorgeous weather, the perfect beach in my favorite city with supercool and nice peeps. Couldn’t bee for thankful. Happy thanksgiving!

A green Juice Ranch wallboard? Of course Scott had to walk down to the beach with it for some surf. 🙂

It’s about time for a green juice.

Let’s make a green juice today! I’m sharing a super easy recipe from Hälsokick with you.

Green balance:

1 handful each: spinach, mint, parsley

4 celery stalks

1/2 cucumber

3 cm ginger

1 lemon

And here are some add-ons: 1 tsp maca, 1 tsp lucuma and 1 pinch pink salt… just for pimping a little bit.

Run everything thru the juicer and stir in the add-ons. Cheers!
