Some deliciousness

My favorite spot Gjusta Bakery must serve THE best quiches in the whole wide world. They are so savory, fluffy and absolutely delicious. And now they’ve added some new small exciting bites to their menu  – bread squares with yummy toppings like pear and burrata or their homemade salmon spread and things.  I went there the other day and hung out by the coffee bar watching busy new years people shop some last minute delicacies, the’ve got tons of it! Next time you’re in Venice, head over there and grab some home baked bread, spreads, pickled veggies and salmon and have a nice weekend. 🙂 Oh, and did I mention the almond hot chocolate I had? Mmm… the best.

The only reason I’m doing these collages is that I keep forgetting to bring my camera. Cheers!

Quinoa porridge with coconut milk

Quinoa porridge is one of my favorite breakfasts. It’s a high quality protein, a great source of fiber and it’s gluten free.  There are many ways to make a good breakfast bowl. I usually boil the quinoa in water and almond milk together with a tablespoon miso paste. The one in the picture is cooked in coconut milk and maple syrup with berries on top plus some arugula. It’s really good that way too. You can also cook it with apple peaces, walnuts and cinnamon.

Laird Hamilton riding the swells and I’m eating a acai bowl down the road.

It’s beautiful out. I’m sitting on the beach eating some breakfast. The waves are kinda big today. Not on this picture but Hurricane Marie brings big surf and many surfers takes the day off. It’s not everyday they get to ride these monsters. Again, I’m not referring to this picture – but I guarantee big once. Check out Laird Hamilton today in Malibu.

Acai bowls are always a great idea. I topped with some almond butter and added 1 tsp maca as well. Good energy, nutritious and delicious…. as I always say!
